New Build Selection Consulting
Overwhelmed by the many choices you have to make with your new build or remodel?
Marker Girl’s New Build Selection Consulting Service takes the overwhelm out of the many decisions it takes to build or remodel a new home. With this service, Karen is advising you based on what the builder, architect, or contractor has designed for you.
We work together through a series of scheduled appointments and will refer to the contractor’s vendor sources and budget specifications given to you. All appointments are planned ahead so you can make the most of your time with Karen.
The result is a specifications binder with all the selection details provided to you and your contractor.
By letting a professional help you make the right choices, you avoid making costly mistakes and end up with a stress-free process for your remodel or new build.

Design fees start at $3500, including an initial plan review meeting and two consulting appointments for the first room. If more than one space is needed, a customized design fee will be determined by the scope of work and the number of selection consultations.

Our In-Home Interior Design services the Houston metro area including -Bellaire, Heights, West U, The Woodlands, Spring, Tomball, Cypress, Fulshear, Katy, and Sugar Land. (Out of area projects will be considered based upon schedule and scope of work; Travel and Expense fees will be added.)

She is timely and very professional. I am completely blown away by the renovation. We had over 900 sq feet of new flooring put in, a new backsplash, kitchen sink, complete renovation of the powder removal, and all new furniture for the living room.
We have two school-aged children and a senile dog and Karen helped me determine what would be best to invest in for our home. I tend to get overwhelmed with choices so when picking out fabrics or tile, she met me at the stores, showed me 2-3 workable options that were in my allowance budget and fit the design that I could pick from.
