Design Strategy Session
A strategy session is about getting the details sorted for your project.
All design & consulting projects start with a Strategy Session. In the session, Karen will discuss and walk through the spaces you want to reimagine. The goal is to assess the spaces to be worked on, how they fit into your family’s lifestyle, what’s working today, and what needs improvement. This session serves to help you explain your wishlist of wants and needs, along with defining your design style.
If this is a new build, renovation, or relocation, we can always review blueprints, house layouts, and architectural concepts during our session.
While the discovery call gives Karen the basics, the strategy session lets her see the details in person and further discuss the design service process.
After the session, Karen will review her notes and create a recap of everything discussed during the time together. This recap is sent to you by email, along with a formal proposal that outlines the design fee, estimated investment for furnishings, and projected schedule.
What is important in this session is that you feel confident in the design process and trust in the value Marker Girl can bring.
The two-hour Design Strategy Session Fee is $600.
It will be credited back to you if you opt to move forward with Marker Girl’s Design Services.
*Please note - This session is intended to be a "Getting To Know You Meeting" for clients who are considering Karen for a more comprehensive service. While you receive advice and notes, you will not receive any detailed design plans or furnishings selections during your session.
**A Room Planning Day is done without the Design Strategy Session since it is a one-day service only. If you opt to do a strategy session before, it will not credited towards this service.
