Full-Service Interior Design

The Design Strategy Session is the first step in transforming your space. Before entering an agreement, the process begins with this in-home consultation allowing Karen to evaluate your project, understand your vision, and provide expert insight into the best design approach.

During the session, Karen will discuss your needs, style preferences, budget, and timeline. Following the session, you’ll receive a summary and proposal to kick-start your project. This session costs $600, which will be credited toward your total design fee if you proceed with Marker Girl.

Your Full-Service design experience begins with a review meeting. During this meeting, Karen explores your personal style preferences and discusses personalized floor plan options to help set the foundation of the design. This step ensures that every detail is thoughtfully considered, resulting in a customized design that reflects your vision.

After the meeting, Karen provides clear direction and carefully curates materials and furnishings, resulting in a cohesive design concept tailored specifically to you.

Once the design concepts are ready, the presentation will take place at the trade showroom we used to source furnishings. All decision-makers are encouraged to attend. Fabrics, drawings, photos, samples, and a budget breakdown will be provided, and opportunities to view similar pieces in the showroom will be provided when possible.

Samples and furniture details will be provided to take home, and any updates will be emailed within two business days. A follow-up appointment at the home will finalize furniture details to ensure timely ordering, as custom pieces may take 3–4 months.

This phase of our process ensures every carefully chosen piece—furniture, rugs, window coverings, lighting, and artwork—is secured for your home. With all selections approved and orders placed, you can relax knowing everything is expertly managed for a seamless and timely installation.

All necessary tradespeople will be coordinated, and updates will be provided on the furniture's arrival at the warehouse during this phase.

Your installation will be scheduled once all construction work is complete and the furniture has arrived.

This day is dedicated to installing furniture, window coverings, artwork, and rugs, with any construction completed beforehand, such as flooring, electrical work, and painting. We are committed to completing the installation in one day, although delays may occur due to furniture availability or scheduling constraints with installers.

After the main furnishings have arrived, a separate styling appointment is scheduled to add the finishing touches. Existing accessories will be incorporated, and any additional pieces will be sourced and styled in your home for a complete transformation.

A final walkthrough is scheduled to address any remaining questions or needs, ensuring every detail is complete and the transformation meets expectations.
