Custom Interiors: Furnishings & Decor

Before entering an agreement, the process begins with a Design Strategy Session. During this appointment, your home is assessed to determine the desired design direction, timeline, and investment plan. Following the session, a recap and proposal are provided to initiate the project.

A $600 fee is collected at the end of the appointment and will be applied as a deposit toward the total design fee when proceeding with Marker Girl.

After signing a formal letter of agreement and receiving the deposit for your design fee, we conduct a review meeting to discuss style preferences and essential furniture floor planning. These insights guide the creation of customized design concepts tailored to the client. We then source materials and furnishings, assembling a complete design concept for a formal presentation.

Once the design concepts are ready, the presentation will take place at a to-the-trade design center to review all details. All decision-makers are encouraged to attend. Fabrics, drawings, photos, samples, and a budget breakdown will be provided, with opportunities to view similar pieces in the showroom when possible.

Samples and furniture details will be provided to take home, and any updates will be emailed within two business days. A follow-up appointment at the home will finalize furniture details to ensure timely ordering, as custom pieces may take 3–4 months.

In this phase, after finalizing furniture, selections for special order items such as rugs, window coverings, lighting fixtures, and artwork are confirmed. Once all choices are approved, payments are collected, and orders are placed. With careful attention to detail, project management ensures a smooth ordering process and timely progress.

Your installation will be scheduled once all trade work is complete and the furniture has arrived. All necessary tradespeople will be coordinated, and updates will be provided on the furniture's arrival at the warehouse

This day is dedicated to installing furniture, window coverings, artwork, and rugs, with any construction, such as flooring, electrical work, and painting, completed beforehand. We are committed to making every effort to complete installation in one day, although delays may occur due to furniture availability or scheduling constraints with installers.

After the main furnishings have arrived, a separate styling appointment is scheduled to add the finishing touches. Existing accessories will be incorporated, and any additional pieces will be sourced and styled in your home for a complete transformation.

A final walkthrough is scheduled to address any remaining questions or needs, ensuring every detail is complete and the transformation meets expectations.
