• Furnishing projects requiring full-service take 6-10 months from start to finish.
• Large renovations or new builds may take a year or more.
• We recommend securing your designer at least 6 months in advance of any deadlines.

Yes! Partnering with skilled tradespeople is essential. Trusted contractors can be referred, but they operate independently of Marker Girl, and a separate agreement will be made directly with them. Close collaboration ensures that all design details are clearly communicated.

A fully furnished living room generally starts at $25,000, this would include quality customized furniture, window coverings, rugs, bedding, and lighting.

Kitchen or bathroom renovations can exceed $25,000; includes demo, new fixtures, tile, flooring, cabinetry, hardware, and paint. (Extensive construction, plumbing and electrical will increase costs)

Construction materials (tile, plumbing fixtures, etc.) are purchased through your contractor’s trade sources.

Furniture and Decor: We work with exclusive vendors to provide custom and unique pieces. Our pricing is close to retail and includes full-service ordering, tracking, and installation management. All sales are final upon payment to Marker Girl.

Marker Girl partners with a local design center that offers:

• Trade-only furnishings vendor access
• Showroom pieces for testing
• Customizable sample library

The service benefits include:

• Full handling of ordering, tracking, inspections, delivery coordination, and installation for a seamless experience.
• Complimentary warehousing for up to 1 year before installation.
• Oversight of an independent white-glove delivery service  to ensure proper placement of furniture during our install day of your home.

*Additionally you can purchase through Marker Girl, custom upholstery, drapery, and high quality cabinetry.

Since we cannot oversee third party retail orders, inspections, or deliveries, we do not manage retail purchases nor warehouse them for you.

Self-purchasing is an option through the Design Planning Day Service which provides time together to work on a design concept for you to manage independently. Additional consulting hours can be purchased for extra support; to the trade, purchasing is not offered with this service.

Current pieces will be assessed, and every effort will be made to incorporate them into the design plan.

Each design is carefully researched and tailored to fit personal style and lifestyle preferences. Projects allow for a set number of reselections. If an item doesn’t feel right, an explanation of the selection will be provided, and adjustments will be made as needed to find the best alternative.

Absolutely! Two or three rooms can be completed at a time, with additional phases progressing when the timing is right.
